Gee whiz. Well, I’m glad to be here (or indeed, to be anywhere, as Keef would say). Your own social media outpost here has been bookmarked and fed into two (count ‘em) RSS aggregators, so pardon me while I scooch back, get comfy and await the fusillade of quality content which will undoubtedly follow.
Doc, you know how bad I am with new things. Like I said before this blog used be handprinted, gestetnered and then distributed at street corners by little urchins and ragamuffins. Does wondering how they make ends meet now keep you awake at night?
There’s a reliable carrier pigeon service in my sector of Queens, run out of the corner Turkish bodega – perhaps we could arrange to have all future missives delivered to your NYC readership via an intercontinental system which makes everyone happy and keeps those urchins from having to get jobs at Pizza Express.

Hy Robin – Thanks for that. i have no idea what an “RSS Aggregator” is but I sounds great and I am happy to have been fed into at least two of them.

The urchins were icky. And a total embarrassment at your last candlelight supper.
Oh, hang on, that was me….

I am less concerned about the urchins as they are quite resilient. It is the ragamuffins I feel for. Have you ever seen a robust ragamuffin?
